OT? Color Clock project idea

ALL, I've have a project idea that I probably won't ever get around to. It would be nice to have a clock that displayed the time as EIA color code colors (resistor color code) Four  tri-color LEDs driven by PWM should be able to display the time with each digit being a color  . Would be a good training  aid to learn the resistor color It could even be one LED that sequenced through the colors.
