I have been thinking about a New Jersey memorial gathering for Dan for those of us who can’t make it to New Kensington this weekend. I think we should put some serious thought into this, to hold it when the most people are available to attend, and, most importantly, to make an effort to get his daughters there. Perhaps we can pay for a train ticket or something. I would like to be able to share our experiences with them, and would love to hear their stories too. What do you all think? Maybe early October?
Quite possibly. Maybe do it at a restaurant instead of at InfoAge. That would give us more flexibility and, of course, Dan (and us) all like to eat and drink! Someone suggested doing it as part of Festivus. That could work equally well. I know Dan badly wanted to attend Festivus last year, and he was very sad about having to miss it.
