SIMCHECK II Plus is decent for SIMMs. Probably even "the standard". The original is better IMHO cause you can use modules to test individual and groups of DRAM ICs and SRAMs too. But of course depends on what you do more. If only testing SIMMs, the SIMCHECK II Plus is perfect and does higher ends modules than the SIMCHECK can. I have and use both from time to time. Since I'm mostly team Apple II I use the SIMCHECK with adapters more. But both are good kit and well worth the investment if you can find them at decent prices. What's there on eBay right now is just sellers fishing. Don't feed them please. Henry S. I'd recommend Innoventions SIMCHECK. You can find them for under $100 if you do a saved search. And also find DIP and other adapters. Can also do SRAMs with the right module.
Well worth the money for the kit.

I can bring a machine that takes 30 pin RAM, to test with.
I have a dedicated RAM checker, but I’m not sure where it is.

Alex might be bringing something?
If you could bring your tool too, I’d appreciate it!

Did you get what you needed on this? I don't have anyway to test the rams but can bring a hot air station if you wish.
Would Chip Quik do a better job?
