Thanks for all the advice and recommendations. I ended up getting the Weller WE1010 soldering station, the modern version of the Weller WESD51. Heats up quickly, cools down quickly, multitude of tips, very easy tip change, lightweight and feels comfortable in the hand, etc. Seems like a nice solid device - I’m happy with it so far. - Bob
