Hello Eric! Welcome to our group! I would say that it's fine to come on Sunday for the workshop. As long as everybody gets to bed at a decent time so that everyone isn't too much tired the next day. Everybody usually very serious at the workshop working on stuff both days Saturday and Sunday. At the very least you can have someone look at it we have a lot of good people there I would ask Ian and some others that have experience with Osborne and they can help you. I haven’t made it to a workshop yet. I’d like to come, but I can only make Sunday due to family commitments. Is it worth the drive for the second day, or do things wind down pretty early? I don’t have any Commodore gear (if that’s still the plan), but I’m interested in general retroborkenwerk.
I’m in the process of fixing an Osborne 1 video issue and starting a deep restoration of another computer. With regard to the latter, I’m most interested in hearing the group's thoughts on preserving the integrity of an old machine while restoring it to a functional state.
