And it may be easier to use a water jet service like bigbluesaw.com rather than trying to cut the piece on a table saw. I could see making just ONE prototype on a table saw in order to get the dimensions right.

I think Bill Dudley has the right idea -- use ordinary clear plexi and paint it.
