Recent messages with the subject line "Cromemco Dazzler 40th birthday presents..." discussed litigation around the "XOR" patent. It's an unrelated subject. A note to moderator Evan: please encourage posters to change the subject line to suit their message content. Why? 1) The VCF maillist archive display on the Web, arranges messages by subject. 2) So people have a clue when reading old or new VCF list emails. Note that I changed the subject, rather than respond under "Cromemco...". I eat my own cooking. However, I read the list from the Web archive, so my emails are hand-composed; that gives me the choice of subject. That has other consequences but it keeps my email traffic and archiving down.
