Today I watched a video interview by the CHM of Bill Atkinson where he talks about how he prototyped the various Lisa screen elements before moving them to the Lisa dev setup. It seems he used an Apple II with a special video card to create these.
I’ve done a bit of googling on this but I can’t come up with any good search results. Does anyone know what was involved in that? What was the card like?
