I disabled HTML composition in my desktop email (Thunderbird on Ubuntu) and sent a plain-text message to the new list. It worked normal. Then I enabled HTML composition and sent an HTML-formatted message to the new list. IT STILL WORKED NORMALLY. Thus, my theory about how the text-only option in Mailman causing HTML messages to be the attachments = false. Something else is causing certain messages to appear as attachments.
