What is the risk of scheduling one that is only attended by a few people? What do you lose?
Time and effort that could be put to better use elsewhere in VCF. There are a lot of projects that the local administration is working on . Plus, I have a busy personal life with lots of priorities and responsibilities. By having the workshop I am obligated to be there the entire weekend and cannot do other things. I enjoy organizing events for VCF and seeing all the members, but if not a lot of people show up, than it's not as fun. Plus InfoAge will wonder why we are reserving a large area for just a few people and perhaps there was a larger group that could have used the space.

I think I may do a June and August while skipping July. Many people are on vacation or busy during summer months. The summer workshops tend to be lower attendance.
Anyone have any thoughts or comments?
