I'd love to do an Atari exhibit for thier 40th anniversary in 2019. Atari 800 was my second computer after the TRS-80 Model I. I did a lot more programming for that Atari, I think because it was more "fun". Color graphics, sound, a serial port and four memory mapped joystick ports. My friend and I wrote a two-player Battleship game in BASIC that you could play via modem. Fun times.
Sounds like a good idea. I we should work together. I've got a 600xl, 800xl and an 800 I can work with. Unfortunately I only have the one Commodore monitor. But while finding my Atari 800XL I did find the TV box and cables. They really look new (shocking). I have some disks still but I really want to get the Pi2SIO setup. -- Linux Home Automation Neil Cherry ncherry@linuxha.com http://www.linuxha.com/ Main site http://linuxha.blogspot.com/ My HA Blog Author of: Linux Smart Homes For Dummies
