I'll keep that in mind. I'm usually the first one to arrive at the workshops. We did have a habit of opening up the inner door so people know the place is open by looking through the storm door. However, I'll make sure the inner doors (there are two of them on the one side) remain closed. I also haven't ever had a need to set the thermostat when I arrive, but if it's going to be at at 55 when empty, I'll adjust the temperature accordingly. CDL had a $500 Gas bill this month.
CDL is continuing to tighten up the building to conserve energy, however they need help:
- During workshop and VCF events *please* close the doors - Do not prop them open longer than necessary. - Ask me for the proper operating temperature and temperature to leave it when finished.
And the 'storm doors' do not count as doors. They leak terribly. The solid doors need to be closed. I know it's a pain but we're not made of money!
Gawd I've turned into my mother! ;-)
