I like the humor, though I share the underlying concern, which might be ironic since I collect and sell new products for the platform. It's not a hill I'd die on, since I know speaker and presentation topics are somewhat dictated by those who volunteer and commit to making the effort. I mainly just worry about the potential backlash. Has there ever been a good showing for IBM at the show, since they are also East Coast based? I know DEC and other east coast companies have been covered in the past, but I don't recall a lot of IBM (370 and/or AS/400) representation.
