If you think about it HP owns DEC Compaq SGI CRAY if Oracle didn't buy Sun they probably would have bought that too

Compaq bought Tandem, so HP owns that too. To be specific we are talking about HPE ("Enterprise") not HP (printer ink, laptops, etc.)
