Sorry to hear that, but it could happen anywhere. Obviously cctalk has a greater percentage of older big iron users, while VCForum has a greater percentage of younger microcomputer user. I was just pointing out that people should (please) not overlook the Federation's own forum when posting elsewhere. :)
