I would love try a "hello world" program on my C64 in machine code... if there is someone who can show me that that would be great
Hello Murat! Sorry to get back to you so late, but I thought that another member with vast more experience would jump in to help you. I have a beginner's level of 6502 assembly coding on a C64, but an expert's level of interest in Commodore 64 computers ;) Everyone can tell you that I love that machine and have too many of them as well as its peripherals, books, software, etc. I feel confident in saying that I can help you write a "Hello World" program in C64 assembly since that is one of the most basic programs and I have done this before. If you are around this weekend, then I can certainly help you. I have dozens of books on the C64, but the one that I recommend the most is Jim Butterfield's book: Machine Language for Beginners for the Commodore 64. I have a physical copy as well as a digital copy. If you are interested in the digital one, then let me know. Will you be around the repair workshop this weekend? Jeff
