Ian and the other gentleman working on the Fredon Flexwritere, please note: I think the diodes are wired in wrong. https://forum.vcfed.org/index.php?threads/friden-flexowriter-terminal.124174... It just dawned on me that the motor takes 100v DC and I looked at the above. The selenium diode (ah what a smell) may not work the way you think. Here's a schematic but it's hard to read. https://collections.museumsvictoria.com.au/content/media/21/535271-small.jpg http://www.bitsavers.org/pdf/friden/SP8673R2_Friden_Flexowriter_Programatic_... I think the selenium diode is setup as an AC Full Wave Rectifier. We should have one of those. We should be able to figure out which wires are which. But the current wiring won't work. -- Linux Home Automation Neil Cherry kd2zrq@linuxha.com http://www.linuxha.com/ Main site http://linuxha.blogspot.com/ My HA Blog Author of: Linux Smart Homes For Dummies KD2ZRQ
