I found his obituary. I remember meeting him although we didn't speak much. https://www.obrienfuneralhome.com/memorials/nicholas-lordi/5062548/index.php My condolences to his family. I won't be able to make the viewing but I think we should have a small toast to him at the next get together. Not sure how many people knew Nick, but hope this is okay to post here.
This is from his daughter Nicole:
Hello Neil:
I am not sure we have met. I would sometimes bring my father Nicholas Lordi, to the makerspace on Monday night, when he was no longer able to drive at night. I am writing to let you and InfoAge know that Nicholas passed away suddenly on Friday November 4th. We are having a viewing on Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 2pm - 5pm at O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall Twp. InfoAge and the makerspace was important to my father. In lieu of flowers, I would like to ask people to make a donation to InfoAge--should they do that on the website?
Thank you and best wishes,
For those who do not know Nick, he was a member of IXR & CDL, donated to fixed up the classroom in memory of his wife (I'll get her name) and was always working on a project. He had a working robot, loved Forth and recently fell in love with a version of BASIC for the PIC32 and ARM.
I'm trying to figure out where donations should be sent in Nick's memory.
Nick will be missed, I liked Nick.
