I wasn't able to watch it live, but have started to catch up with it today. Did you watch it?

I had it running on any streaming device that was in any room I was in... logged in on the Discord app on my phone at all times. I mentioned to the organizer that VCF-East is virtual this year and he said he'll send me the code for a Discord bot that can help manage using Discord if VCF-East chooses to use Discord for remote attendee interaction. I enjoyed your presentation... even though I could only listen to it through my phone, as I was doing a complete brake job on my car during your time slot. On Sun, Aug 30, 2020, 9:16 PM RETRO Innovations via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:

Well, I did, but I am biased.
I was only able to skim through Day 3 which seems to be a kit build. Day 1 partially Day 2 seems to be taken down by YouTube temporarily because of DMCA copyright issues. On Sun, Aug 30, 2020 at 9:54 PM Jeff Salzman via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:

My understanding is that out of hours and hours of recording, literally a couple seconds of David Bowie music or something caused Warner Music Group to issue a copyright notice on the entire video. On Mon, Aug 31, 2020, 2:46 AM Jeffrey Brace <jeffrey@vcfed.org> wrote:

It was amazing. I saw none of Day 1, most of Day 2 and in-and-out of Day 3. Lots of interesting uses of Discord to support discussion around the presentations... mmmm ideas for VCF.... -andy

I agree Andy. I talked with Jim Drew after the event and he said he will send me some of the Javascript bots he used to assist with the Discord side of things. I'd like to see us do that with VCF. CRX also used OBS to control their video. On Mon, Aug 31, 2020, 9:26 AM Andrew Diller <dillera@gmail.com> wrote:

Thanks for your time, Jim. Great talk! Very glad you guys did this event. Chris On Aug 30, 2020, at 9:16 PM, RETRO Innovations via vcf-midatlantic <vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote: On 8/30/2020 7:38 PM, Jeff Salzman via vcf-midatlantic wrote:

I didn't watch any of the live content (bandwidth, distractions, etc) but I was active in writing through the Discord server. -ethan
You can watch the "controversially blocked" Day 2 of the CRX 2020 video on Twitch TV. It's displayed in the stream as if it's on a Commodore 1702 monitor, which I don't think is real because it has the flip door cover on it... and we all know that's a phony representation of a 1702 these days. :) https://www.twitch.tv/videos/725947813
Hey, I ONLY have 1702s with doors intact! :-) On Tue, Sep 1, 2020 at 6:35 PM Jeff Salzman via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:
