OT - Need help at Camp Evans
CDL is deploying fiber to replace the problematic Ethernet over Coax (MOCA) feeds to the Hotel and the "H" buildings We will be on site next Saturday (08/06/2022) installing the fiber on the 9059 end of the run to the hotel. Work will involve adding the fiber to the existing bundle (to Building 9032), and cutting out the old ty-wraps. Plenty of trips up and down the stepladders. Thanks for doing this Martin! It will benefit VCF as well as many other groups on campus to have this work done. Having reliable internet is useful for all the museums docents, volunteers and the general public. Although I can't make it because I will be at VCF West in Mountain View, CA, I'm hoping that other VCF volunteers will be able to step up and help Martin with this project. What is the start time for this project Martin?
