I'm surprised that I could even see the pavement in places, let alone at InfoAge. Might have slightly turfed the lawn a bit when the 4WD kicked in, but then I wasn't the only one. Anyway, great festival, happy to meet everyone. 10/10, A++, will exhibit again. :) -- Jameel Akari
That was probably my doing on the lawn. Two ton car, front wheel drive, 24 hours rain beforehand, you get the picture... It's an interesting anecdote. On Apr 3, 2017 4:01 PM, "Jameel Akari via vcf-midatlantic" < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vintagecomputerfederation.org> wrote:

We are going to have to fix all that mess. InfoAge was none too please to have the lawn all torn up. On Mon, Apr 3, 2017 at 4:04 PM, Jeff Salzman via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vintagecomputerfederation.org> wrote:

Yeah, I bet. Was certainly not intentional. If there is a "workshop" day in the future where this can be worked on, I'll volunteer if I can. That said, I wonder about getting estimates from a local landscaper. 15 minutes with a grader would straighten it out faster than hours of volunteer labor. -- Jameel Akari

I have to fix my lawn too. It wasn't happy with the suburban coming up the hill from the basement door.
Getting a landscaper is a great idea, but unfortunately InfoAge doesn't have the money for that. InfoAge relies on volunteers to mow the lawn, and every other type of maintenance. All jobs all unpaid volunteers. If you know some who has a grader that can be borrowed, then please let me know.
