Rescue needed: Tandy 4000 and more!
I hope photos are allowed! :) We found this in a relative’s attic, and it doesn’t fit with my collection. I have no idea if any of it works, but I see no physical damage other than a few missing screws on the case. There are more than 20 Bernoulli cartridges. This is located in Elkins Park, PA (near Philadelphia) and we need it picked up by this weekend as the house is going up for sale. Please contact me privately if interested. - Bob Shuster

Tandy 4000 was a beast! Used to drool over it sort-of in the Radio Shack catalog. Family had a Tandy 1000SX. After it served it's useful life I repurposed it with a BASIC program and relay board to control my dad's Christmas lights. Then it died. Now I know it might of been bad cap type of issue but I got rid of it years ago in a purge. - Ethan

Just for anyone interested we have a complete working Tandy 1000 SX for sale at the shop...come and get it. $250. With dual 5 1/4" drives and a working original hard drive, serial card added, mouse, software, books, manuals included. Epson color monitor. Much nicer than the one for sale on Ebay now. Bill
