Radio Shack Model II rescue
There is a Radio Shack Model II that needs to be rescued. It's in Flushing, NY. If I was able to drive that far, I'd pick it up myself. Is anyone available in the area who would be able to pick it up? Thanks, Joseph Oprysko -- Normal Person: Hey, it seems that you know a lot. Geek: To be honest, it's due to all the surfing I do. Normal Person: So you go surfing? Normal Person: But I don't think that has anything to do with knowing a lot... Geek: I think that's wrong on a fundamental level. Normal Person: Huh? Huh? What?
I'm always ready to help save a Model II. Let me know how I can help. Pete

Joe, I picked up your Model II in Flushing today. The guy was a collector of newer DOS machines so he really didn't know what to do with it. It's a fairly clean, complete, stock, earlier Model II. It comes with a keyboard but it has a few cracks and surely needs a rebuild. It's sitting on my shelf until we find a time to meet up. Pete
