I will throw in a recommendation for Samsung printers. I bought a small cheap B&W laser in 2010, still going strong and consumables are cheap if you go for the non Samsung replacements. My test for the printer when I first got it was to print the manuals for a Tektronix 7854. The only gripe I have is the paper tray is smaller then I would like but for less then $70 new, can’t complain. But you can’t go wrong with a big HP either, especially one with 11x17 capability, great for printing out schematics. Matt Sent from my iPhone

Wow, can't complain about that at all! I've always been impressed by most of Samsung's products. There are exceptions, but they generally make good stuff.
But you can’t go wrong with a big HP either, especially one with 11x17 capability, great for printing out schematics.
