Have you considered (or maybe it already exists) putting these dates into a publicly shared Google calendar or something like that? Then we could just subscribe to it & have the dates in our calendars automatically. Regardless, thanks for posting all the dates early like this! Makes planning a lot easier for me. - Ben On Thu, Dec 5, 2024 at 11:56 PM Jeffrey Brace via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:

Great idea, Ben. I'll see what I can do to make an Google Calendar with those dates that can be imported into common calender apps. Jeff Salzman On Fri, Dec 6, 2024, 8:47 AM Benjamin Krein via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:

Like this existing website? https://vcfed.org/groups/vcf-mid-atlantic/vcf-mid-atlantic-calendar/ Or this new Google Sheet that I created? https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Akbosf9FkEFiYI_tvUzN43vRrwW2J5Qz2IMX... FYI: Jeff Salzman is the new events manager for non-fundraising events. I’m training him on how to do it. We picked out dates together to lock them in. InfoAge fills up quickly with events these days! Looks like Jeff Salzman will look into a public calendar website if that works for people.
Regardless, thanks for posting all the dates early like this! Makes planning a lot easier for me.
I do as best as I can based on many factors. It’s difficult, but easier than the past. Experience helps predict the best days, but the there are many variables and things that come up.

The dates being listed on the website & the Google Doc that gets shared around here is fine but not really what I'm suggesting. If the dates are added to a publicly shared Google Calendar then i can subscribe to it & the VCF stuff is all just there on my calendar automatically with all the other stuff I have so I can better plan around things. I subscribe to personal, family, work calendars, holiday calendars, etc all in the same calendar so it's really easy to see what's coming up alongside other things going on & you (or whomever) just needs to add stuff to that calendar for it to automatically be on mine. The lists & emails here are nice but if I don't manually add them to one of my own calendars those dates are very likely to get lost/forgotten/overlooked. If they show up on my calendar & I want to schedule something else on a conflicting day I'm much more likely to schedule around an existing VCF event if it's already there on my calendar on the date I was considering. Just a thought. They're free & easy to maintain/use on both ends. - Ben On Fri, Dec 6, 2024 at 12:57 PM Jeffrey Brace <jeffrey@vcfed.org> wrote:
