So saddened by this news. Curt entrusted me with two of his prototype Atari systems at last year’s VCF and I am forever thankful. I’m not really sure how to process how big a loss this is for the Atari community. More importantly the loss too his family and close friends must be overwhelming. I hope the best for his family and friends. RIP Curt and I am glad to have known you. -Pete

What terrible news, he was an awesome cultural historian. The world lost a good person. Bill
Curts contributions to the Atari community were tremendous. I’m grateful to have spoken with him, as well as for his participation in VCFe last year. His exhibit was astounding and made the Atari 40th anniversary event truly special. His knowledge and passion were unparalleled. This is sad, He was a good man. I don't know what to say. Just very sad.
I'm going to write a blog post about Curt onto the VCF website. I didn't know him well, but saw him at VCF East two years ago with his Atari exhibit, which was awesome! If anyone is interested in helping me to write a memoriam about him, then please e-mail me privately.
