Justin, Thanks for letting everyone know about this. I'm not sure if you were trying to attach a picture, but FYI: this discussion list doesn't support attachments. It is necessary to have a link to any pictures or attachments. Jeff On Sat, Dec 6, 2025 at 12:00 PM Hopkins, Justin via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:
Stumbled across this today. On the estate sales website, there is an estate sale in Upper Saddle River going on December 6 and 7th, with a picture of what I am pretty sure is an Smith Corona HRM2 monochrome monitor. It runs on the Smith Corona PWP module (which isn't pictured in the estate sale), but I also think it was compatible with Hercules MDA graphics cards used on the first IBM PC. That is a little far for me to get it and bring it to an event.

I know about the attachments rule. It is such an obscure item, and the estate sale person didn’t put it in the list of items, so a text search would not have brought it up, and only if you looked at the pictures of the estate would you have stumbled across it, (like I did) If it was closer to me, I would have gone and tried to buy it for cheap and just given it away to anyone who has an MDA graphics card and needs a monitor.
