I'm hoping someone might give me some ideas. I've been getting odd packages from China and India, Tiny packages containeing things like tiny tinkerbell (smaller than peanut), nail clippers (but actually stickers - that's happened twice). And a larger, heavier package today I got this cheap a** walking stick with a telescope (really bad optics not even fully ground). Anyway, the walking stick was sent via DHL from Sara International (India -> UK -> US). I've save all the packages and they have no direct connection to anything I've ordered. Google has come up blank on any of the names involved. I'm going to see if my credit had been affected. Any ideas? Any pointers. -- Linux Home Automation Neil Cherry ncherry@linuxha.com http://www.linuxha.com/ Main site http://linuxha.blogspot.com/ My HA Blog Author of: Linux Smart Homes For Dummies

Any ideas? Any pointers. Yes! You've been "brushed". I only know that because I happened to read an article about it a few weeks ago. Although now I see the article is from 2017: https://www.forbes.com/sites/wadeshepard/2017/11/27/americans-are-receiving-... Never knew anyone who experienced it until now. Congrats, you're one of the chosen people... so to speak. :)

Wow, that's really weird. Odd thing is they have my Cell Phone number. I don't recall giving that to Alibaba or the other big Chinese seller. Amazon and Google have it but none of the other sellers. Huge thanks as this explains a lot. It looks like it won't affect my credit (at this time). -- Linux Home Automation Neil Cherry ncherry@linuxha.com http://www.linuxha.com/ Main site http://linuxha.blogspot.com/ My HA Blog Author of: Linux Smart Homes For Dummies

https://www.npr.org/sections/money/2018/04/27/606528176/episode-838-a-series... "A few years ago, a strange package arrived at the house of Celina Salas. Inside was a plastic watch, painted gold. It only kind of worked. Over many months, more and more oddball surprises arrived: a piggy bank, a friendship bracelet, a fuzzy keychain. And she never learned why. Celina, as they say, is not alone. Odd packages like this have been reported arriving all over the country. #838: A Series of Mysterious Packages So we tried to figure out what was going on, and the answer led us across the globe, and into some players gaming some of the largest companies in the world."
