Re: [vcf-midatlantic] Good inexpensive storage in NJ
I think you're going to see a lot of items go up for sale over the next 6 months due to storage cost increases or inability to pay storage. The cost increase comes from the fact that commercial real estate mortgage rates have gone up by 5 or more percent since many balloon mortgages were established and they're now coming due... a cost which has to be passed to the consumer. On the other hand a lot of former commercial office space is empty. Rather than look for just traditional storage places you might want to ask around to see if anyone who has an empty office complex, store, or warehouse building would be willing to accept payment for storing computers/electronics there. A thought. Bill On Sun, Sep 10, 2023 at 1:50 PM Sentrytv via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:
I have tried to find storage for my car. They run anywhere from $275-$300 for something that will fit a 19 foot car. I used to pay $125 in Metuchen New Jersey to store my car and I gave it up this past April. One of the stupidest thing I ever did.
As for storage for my PC stuff I haven’t found anything reasonably priced.

So I recently got storage in NJ because storage in NYC is just too expensive. I wasn't there a year and they greatly increased price. I have a 5x12 and I went from $97 to $156. Does anyone have a recommendation of a good storage company that is not that expensive?
There are several in New Jersey that are doing that however their prices aren’t as cheap as you may think I guess because of market demand. Sent from: My extremely complicated, hand held electronic device.
