PDF of Microcomputer Systems Principles Featuring the 6502/KIM
Bill Mensch mentioned this book in a video chat I had with him preparing for his VCF West 2020 Virtual presentation. It seems that a book that I'm looking for is hard to find and there is no PDF available. The book is: Microcomputer Systems Principles Featuring the 6502/KIM by Camp, Smay and Triska This is the Google Listing: https://books.google.com/books/about/Microcomputer_Systems_Principles_Featur... This is the World Cat listing: https://www.worldcat.org/title/microcomputer-systems-principles-featuring-th... If anyone knows of a PDF version, then please let me know. If you *have* the book, then consider scanning it for the general public's use. Thanks! -- ========================================= Jeff Brace Vice President & Board Member, VCF East Showrunner Vintage Computer Federation http://www.vcfed.org/ jeffrey@vcfed.org
I am not sure what makes this book special, but given it on the surface apepars to be just another KIM 6502 book, I am sure that are pdfs out there on the 6502 that use the KIM as their basis for examples. It was popular back in the day. Chuck Peddle knew the author. It was used by various universities to teach.

Yikes, it's $571.84 "new" from "LiquidatorsDiscount" on Amazon (one has to wonder what the non-discounted price would be). $113 used. And those prices don't even net you free shipping! - Dave

A Twitter-er pointed out that this person seems to have it: http://retro.hansotten.nl/6502-sbc/6502-books/ They seem quite willing in general to post PDF copies, perhaps you could ask nicely if they'd be willing to scan this one (which does not have the PDF up)? - Dave

Oh, hey, that's awesome! Might want to put it up on the Archive or something so that guy's site doesn't get slammed... - Dave

VCF is working on creating an Internet Archive account.
