Re: [vcf-midatlantic] July workshop: anyone need a hand?
Evan could use help sorting through the Apple //c to find 4 good working ones and repair if necessary. Also find color monitors that work with them in the warehouse. <https://www.avast.com/sig-email?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campaign=sig-email&utm_content=webmail&utm_term=icon> Virus-free. www.avast.com <https://www.avast.com/sig-email?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campaign=sig-email&utm_content=webmail&utm_term=link> <#DAB4FAD8-2DD7-40BB-A1B8-4E2AA1F9FDF2> On Sat, Jul 8, 2017 at 6:30 PM, Jonathan Sturges via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vintagecomputerfederation.org> wrote:

I'm thinking of coming up for the workshop because I haven't been in awhile, but I don't have a good project. Anyone need any assistance? Some soldering maybe?
Note to Evan: I don't want to spend the whole weekend in the warehouse... :-)

Hi Jeff, I'll be there on Saturday (definitely) and maybe Sunday to help with this. Evan already knows, but I'm sure he forgot. :) -Adam On 7/9/2017 12:26 AM, Jeffrey Brace via vcf-midatlantic wrote:

Well... I have a good feeling about our //c systems being in working condition, but one never knows until we get to the testing. However we have a buttload of the + and e models in various stages of working, repairable, or unknown condition. Probably a dozen or more. I would like to see which work, which are quick/simple fixes, and which should be labeled as parts-only status. Also I * do * need something soldered but it's an extremely minor job. Just some wires/connectors. I can solder but not well. :)
Sounds like a plan to me!
