Does anyone know what these are
Some guy on reddit has a box of small boards. he doesn't know what they are and if you do and are interested this might be for you. https://www.reddit.com/r/VintageComputers/comments/y1p5zs/im_a_reseller_pick...
I'm sure they have an original purpose that I'm not familiar with. However, they look like props for those 80s movies where they save the world from nuclear annihilation by swapping out a few control boards in the launch mechanism. 🙂 On Wed, Oct 12, 2022, 8:34 AM Christian Liendo via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:

I wish the pictures were higher resolution so I could see the transistor numbers but definitely from the 60s or very early 70s Sent from: My extremely complicated, hand held electronic device.

The small tan boards appear to be IBM SMS cards (Standard Modular System) used in IBM computers and peripherals in the 60’s. Here is a link to additional information. <http://www.righto.com/2015/03/a-database-of-sms-cards-technology.html?m=1> I also replied to the original Reddit poster. Thanks, I'm glad you said that this is more valuable to a collector than a gold dealer. Hopefully they will find a good home. Thanks again! On Wed, Oct 12, 2022 at 9:46 AM Jeff Galinat via vcf-midatlantic <vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:
