Cool! InfoAge lounge restoration
... and replace the original oak with a new duplicate...
As a homeowner with solid-oak flooring, why did/does Infoage want to replace 100-year-old oak? And if they do, where's the dumpster with the removed oak? ;) Herb -- Herbert R. Johnson, New Jersey USA http://www.retrotechnology.com OR .net
I was wondering the same thing as Herb. I think it'd be really awesome if they were able to nurse the original oak floors back to health. Keeping it as original as possible would be great, even if it won't look like it would have when Marconi was there. Since I'm not a homeowner, I'm not sure what would be more expensive: completely replacing it with new oak, or refinishing the old oak. Kyle
