Only 12 people placed orders so far (I'll be 13). Doesn't anyone else want a new Federation hooded sweatshirt? I will keep posting until the deadline this Friday at 5pm, because I don’t want to get a bunch of guilt trips when people at Festivus ask, "Isn't there one for me?" :)

It's getting cool here (too busy with work to fly though...) How much?

I just placed my order through PayPal. Let me know if you got it. I don't want any problems because it is linked with my MSN account. On Wed, Nov 11, 2015 at 11:22 PM, Cory Smelosky via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vintagecomputerfederation.org> wrote:

Sorry, I don't wear sweatshirts. However, I would be interested in a collared polo/golf shirt when the warmer weather comes along. Just planting the idea now, hint, hint. Regards, Jeff Galinat

Agreed. I have more sweatshirts, t-shirts, hoodies and baseball caps then I will ever need. I would be up for Polos and maybe patches.

Just like you can't un-see something, you can't un-mention it either. On Thu, Nov 12, 2015 at 11:26 AM, Evan Koblentz via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vintagecomputerfederation.org> wrote:

I appoint you chairman of the VCF unmentionable committee.
I'd be up for VCF tighty-whiteys (of any color)...boxers are for men who, um, run smaller systems. Support is an important consideration where larger systems are concerned. -Dave -- Dave McGuire, AK4HZ New Kensington, PA On November 12, 2015 11:10:10 AM Jeffrey Brace via vcf-midatlantic <vcf-midatlantic@lists.vintagecomputerfederation.org> wrote:

I like the hoodies, but I would _also_ go for the polo shirts too when the time comes. Stickers and/or patches are cool too. FYI, This may have not been mentioned here before. But this time around I made the logo in 3D cad. So all of the features are intact, such as the keycaps, the raised lettering, the raised pcb wreath and terminal as well. So if there is interest and the patience, you can just take the file, find somebody with a 3D printer over there and make full size medallions - what ever size you want from little coin sized versions to one big enough to hang on a wall. The only issue with this is that since the logo is 3 colors, black, white, and the blueish-green, you would have to paint them. I do this sometimes for small models, eg, DnD. But I don't have the strength to paint several dozens of them - you'll need some youngster who's good at painting. I would suggest using a filament with blue-green -- because then it's easy to paint the black background, the white keycaps, and black letters -- in that order. There's less paint bleeding this way. The other alternative is to 3D Print the parts separately in the their own colors. But this would take a large amount of time to glue the parts, the keycaps, the wreath, and letters on the medallion. This of course eliminates the large amount painting time. But now I see there's new 3D Printers with dual filament, triple and multi-color filament extruders -- so changing filament colors in mid process is practical now-- that's another way to eliminate the painting steps. just something to be different link to the screenshot https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByB6KLisI66XcmpOcEt0WmJmVnc/view?usp=sharin... That's awesome! Hopefully we can make something in time for VCF East next year.
