Transparent Apple II/II+ Case Kickstarter
All, I met the MacEffects team at Vintage Computer Festival Midwest, a few of weeks ago, and saw the prototype for their truly amazing clear Apple II/II+ case: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/maceffects/injection-molded-clear-case-... The pictures truly do not do it justice. My wallet was duly robbed. They are down to the last few hours, and the kickstarter is close, but not quite there. Help out, if you can! - Alex
It’s only for the II/II+. Don’t have one of those. Now if there was one for the IIe.... Thanks Randy Sent from my iPhone

I would love to have a clear apple II+ case and the apple IIe case Maybe even the black one But glow-in-the-dark seems pretty cool. I'm wondering if they were to sell this to the general public at what cost? Sent from: My extremely complicated, hand held electronic device.

Good thing this thread was started I forgot about ordering one. That problem is fixed. I have a rev 4 Apple II that has a scratched case, I was going to repair it but this is so much cooler. corey cohen uǝɥoɔ ʎǝɹoɔ Sent from my iPhone

That's it! None of you within a mile of my house. How do you expect me to watch the CBS nightly with Dan Rather! On a more serious note, I wonder what kind of RFI we are putting out? I recall my Apple II killing the Ch 2/3 signal for about a 500 ft radius of the computer. -- Linux Home Automation Neil Cherry ncherry@linuxha.com http://www.linuxha.com/ Main site http://linuxha.blogspot.com/ My HA Blog Author of: Linux Smart Homes For Dummies
The Apple II until the IIc usually used channel 33 for the RF adapter which only messes up channel 11 :-) corey cohen uǝɥoɔ ʎǝɹoɔ Sent from my iPhone

Ok. It seems like they didn’t make their goal :-( Don’t know the rules for Kickstarter but could they try again with slightly higher pricing to see if they make their goal? I’d be willing to spend $25 more for a case then they were asking if that allowed them to go in production. corey cohen uǝɥoɔ ʎǝɹoɔ Sent from my iPhone

This subject has been discussed for several months in the Apple II Enthusiasts group over on Facebook. The case designer chimes in there. On Thu, Oct 31, 2019, 6:56 AM corey cohen via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:

Corey, they can add the II/II+ cases as a stretch goal on another project (the iie case perhaps?) The iie case is already in prototyping. Tony Sent from my iPhone
