Actually a UPS for a Pi isn't that expensive. I have a couple of these (get the right one for PI/PiZero/Pi 3 -- there are at least 2 different models) (https://www.tindie.com/products/xorbit/lifepo4weredpi/) They work great keeping the PI's running. I've not had any corruption on the SD cards (and two Zero's run 24/7) since I got these. Earl

New subject: Monitor needed for museum
The adventure is over. :). Dean found us a small unloved HDMI monitor in his storage. I'll pay back VCFed for the VGA adapter + use that for my own Pi.
