It would make a nice display. I would donate $$ to rent a truck. On Fri, Apr 5, 2019 at 3:39 PM Jameel Akari via vcf-midatlantic <vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:

Wow. Thanks for the memories. Those were wonderful manuals. Confession: I go back a little further to the Orange Wall! Hope these can find a home... And (second confession) I had never explored archive.org. amazing! I no longer feel guilty about the boxes of floppies, CD ROMs and computer magazines I've tossed over the years. Incredible what's there! I just lost an hour of my life flipping through the old Byte and Microcomputing images! Tx. - glenn

I've contacted the person offering these manuals, as we have people up in that area, but I've not yet heard back. Just FYI.
On an unrelated note, we've returned from our truck trip to Minneapolis and Chicago, several people here are waiting for replies from me about stuff, I'll get caught up over the next day or so. -Dave -- Dave McGuire, AK4HZ New Kensington, PA
Dave, Not sure how old these are, are the Grey the newer or older, but in any case VMS manuals seem surprisingly spread out. Last time I looked there were not many on Bitsavers but vaxhaven.com has both individual manuals and CD manual sets. The Compaq manual viewer seems to work well on these. Dave

The grey ones are v5.0 and later. I have them all in PDF form, and a couple of mostly-complete grey and orange wall sets from when I was a commercial VMS admin, but we lack one single complete set of the same revision, for the museum floor. -Dave -- Dave McGuire, AK4HZ New Kensington, PA
