Selling my Atari VCS (light-sixer)
No longer need my VCS. I rarely ever play it, but if I get the itch there are plenty at the museum. I know these are common as dirt. Not sure what it's worth ... light sixer, works fine, average cosmetic condition, bunch of common games (only uncommon game is Spy Hunter), cartridge box holder thingamajig, the usual joysticks/paddles. Please send me a private email if you're interested. ________________________________ Evan Koblentz, executive director Vintage Computer Federation a 501(c)(3) educational non-profit evan@vcfed.org (646) 546-9999 www.vcfed.org facebook.com/vcfederation twitter.com/vcfederation instagram.com/vcfederation
is a light sixer the six switch model. Those are the rarest I thought, I guess I could check the WWW for this info. I have one with 6, one with 4, and one that's silver b On Tue, Feb 27, 2018 at 5:58 PM, Evan Koblentz via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vintagecomputerfederation.org> wrote:

No. The "heavy" were the earliest units. Several minor differences including the lack of a channel selector switch on the bottom. Mine is the "light" sixer. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/198275-heavy-vs-light-sixer-differences-rev... I am interested, I have seen some recently in the area on Craigslist with 8-12 games for $70ish dollars in what appears to be good condition. Would this be the range you are looking for depending on the number of cartridges? Sold.
Tip for like minded folks...there are 2600's to be found at the New Castle Farmers Market in the spring/summer. This is a great place to get vintage gaming systems. I have also gotten many IBM PCs, Apple IIe, Atari 800XL, Grid Laptop, Commodore 128, Commodore 1541's. THere are also PC vendors who sell cheap modern-ish machines. Tables of cables, parts, computer cards, etc. It's almost like a hamfest every weekend. The best weeks to be there is around Mother's Day. Bill

But are they free-range, organic ones? - Dave
