Old TV knocks out internet for entire village
I could go into all the different problems with this but given that we probably all have an old TV or monitor, it is something we may find funny. https://www.cnn.com/2020/09/22/uk/old-tv-breaks-broadband-village-scli-intl-...

Hmm, cheap EMP device, hmmmm (mind begins to wonder). Now what was he watching on that old TV and did the village chip in to get him a newer one? ;-) -- Linux Home Automation Neil Cherry ncherry@linuxha.com http://www.linuxha.com/ Main site http://linuxha.blogspot.com/ My HA Blog Author of: Linux Smart Homes For Dummies
Can’t imagine how the TV itself would generate that much interference especially if it were not even connected to cable TV or high speed Internet. If it’s that old, it would certainly need a cable box it and would not be connected to Internet at all. ? Sent from: My extremely complicated, hand held electronic device.
