Ian and I build a simple ramp to remove the VAX 9000 racks from their pallets. We got two racks de-palleted, but the other racks were too heavy for he and I to handle alone. A few clones of Ian may have been enough :) but all my strength is legs, not upper body. I don't know exactly how many racks are left to de-pallet. Probably around a dozen. It would help a lot if we could tackle at least some of them this weekend. Then the supercomputer will take up less space in the warehouse. Also, then we could put a couple of racks of it in the museum!
I missed today but hope to come by tomorrow. Not bringing anything to work on but as you know can help with muscle. On Jan 11, 2019, 3:58 PM -0500, Evan Koblentz via vcf-midatlantic , wrote:
