Someone contacted me to see if I could help them sell their PDP 11/23. I have yet to respond as I really don't know how to tell them that I don't have time. No. That's the point. They need help. I referred them to look at completed eBay sales or to post on forum.vcfed.org and the man said "I do not feel 'tech literate' enough to try to handle myself. If you would be willing to post it for me, or know of anyone else who would be willing to do so, I would gladly pay a commission to whomever is able to get it sold for me. " So they have no idea what it is worth and need help figuring it out. I don't have the time.

A picture of the complete machine would help a lot. Just "an 11/23" doesn't really give much information, and will result in wildly different valuations. An 11/23 in an open frame with no case will be $x. An 11/23 in a full BA23 with drives and controllers and the like will be 5x the price. BA11-M, may or may not contain an 11/23, or anything else for that matter, it's tough to tell without seeing it with the front cover removed. Nice little 4x4 Qbus enclosure, very hard to find nowadays. The box alone is worth quite a bit.
