I've done a short video on loading and running paper tape BASIC on my HP 2108A minicomputer: http://q7.neurotica.com/Oldtech/HP/2108A/PaperTapeEdited.mp4 I just got this working, this evening. HP 2108A with 32KW RAM, 12531D terminal interface (2400 baud), 12597A interface for the 2748B high speed paper tape reader, and a 2645A terminal. It's nice to see these machines in action! That is a fast papertape reader! I love it! Next time, please show the papertape rewinder so that we can see it on the video. It was out of frame. That terminal needs some tender loving care with the glass. Bring it to the next repair workshop! Why was there an error at the beginning of loading Lunar Lander? More practice in playing that game ;) It took me a few hours to get the landering just right when playing on the Apple I.

That was intentional. I didn't think it was interesting, and I cut out that section.

Yes it does, and I've done that operation before on my 2647A. Just haven't gotten around to it.

There appears to be some missing characters at the beginning of the program as punched on the tape. There should be a line 1, which is a comment. No harm done. Mike Loewen mloewen@cpumagic.scol.pa.us Old Technology http://q7.neurotica.com/Oldtech/
