Does anyone know if the speakers that are going to VCF East will be at VCF SouthEast also? I can't make it to VCF East so was planning to go to VCF SouthEast in April.
Does anyone know if the speakers that are going to VCF East will be at VCF SouthEast also? I can't make it to VCF East so was planning to go to VCF SouthEast in April.
Sometimes there is overlap, but mostly the events are unique. East, West, and Pacific-Northwest are operated by Vintage Computer Federation (two board members of which are on this Mid-Atlantic chapter list, and yours truly is executive director nationwide). Southeast and Midwest are operated independently. Mike, No. The SE show is produced by Atlanta Historical Computing Society (www.atlhcs.org) and isn't part of the Federation at the moment. We do have a mailing list for our group (link on the web-site). We haven't finalized speakers yet and I can't really share any unconfirmed leads. But we'll announce them across lists (vcf-midatlantic, cctalk, rescue, TUHS, VCForums, etc) when set. We hope to have one confirmed in early February and the other later next month.
