Does anyone happen to have in their dusty vaults, a TI Silent 700 Auxiliary EIA Cable (TI 983847)? This is essentially a 15 pin to 25 pin RS-232 cable. I am hoping to use the Silent 700 745 in my VCF exhibit (I could make a cable, but I'm being lazy) Thanks in advance.

I can loan you one I made for my 743. I need it back though. Do you want me to bring it to just bring it to VCF? Or do you want it earlier to test with? Email me directly. Btw. Why is it off topic. It's about VCF and a 745 is most likely over 35 years old and a great alternative to a noisy teleteype. Btw. Why is it off topic. It's about VCF and a 745 is most likely over 35 years old and a great alternative to a noisy teleteype. The only thing that sucks is the cassette ASR versions were very limited and expensive so you still needed a paper tape setup to match a teletype.

Corey, Bill: Thank you! You guys rock. I will try the PCC route first and then I'll hit you up, Corey, if that doesnt pan out. I probably would need it sooner to make sure I can get communications going between the 745 and my linux box via usb-serial.
