Hi All, This may not be reaching anybody as I have never sent a message on this mailing list (besides replying to someone), but can someone bypass the firewall? There are a good 25 people that want to watch the VCF live stream and it freezes every 5 seconds. Sorry for this unprofessional, rushed message :) -Charlie @PowerPCFan on MacRumors Forums and TinkerDifferent

Well the post-mortem analysis is sure to be interesting. We at LSSM went to some trouble to get our end of the videoconference stuff ready. One of our guys took a day off work yesterday to set it all up. Very annoyed, -Dave -- Dave McGuire, AK4HZ New Kensington, PA
Hopefully someone fixes it!! On Sat, Apr 15, 2023 at 7:39 PM Dave McGuire via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:

I saw Adriane in the CDL from early morning to later in the day on the phone. The problem wasn't being ignored it was being worked. I don't have access to the details so won't guess what the problem was or their efforts. I can only comment that having done similar work they were taking this very serious. -- Linux Home Automation Neil Cherry kd2zrq@linuxha.com http://www.linuxha.com/ Main site http://linuxha.blogspot.com/ My HA Blog Author of: Linux Smart Homes For Dummies KD2ZRQ

CDL is installing single-mode fiber to Building 9010 the weekend of June 17th and 18th, replacing the problematic MOCA gear. The plan was to do this before VCFe, however the all-volunteer install crew kept running into date conflicts with InfoAge weekend events. Adding insult to injury, we had to decline the offer of a senior engineer from NetGate to visit CDL to upgrade and fine tune the firewall, again due to yet another InfoAge event date conflict. Just a FYI, Apparently Fran Blanche uploaded an alternative live Stream view of Fridays YouTube Streamers round table this morning for our viewing pleasure. On Sun, Apr 16, 2023, 9:18 AM Martin Flynn via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:

Yes. She asked for permission and I gave it to her. Happy to do it. Helps her to promote herself and us at the same time. It's all good for the hobby as part of our mission.

Jeffrey, That's awesome. Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend this weekend due to bad timing and some unexpected medical issues with my disability. I am totally bummed. I last attended in VCF EAST IN October 2021 and I a blast (thanks to Tony BOGAN with his assistance with accessibility accommodations). Due to the unfortunate streaming issues at Vcf East, I'm glad you allowed her to post it. Thank you. Will the 2nd YouTube Streamers session be uploaded soon? Thank you in advance.
