VCF Swap Meet October 28, 2023 - Registration Link
Sorry for the delay everyone. I was trying to get a new payment system up and running through our website to minimize fees, but it is delayed. So I turned on the vendor registration Google Form and we are accepting payments with PayPal or Venmo. Here is the Vendor Registration link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScOWh6m56BB9JQ7UfG_8q5kPuLHqIhlrjo1... Here is the website info: https://vcfed.org/vcf-swap-meet/ I'm still finalizing the flyer. However we will have the firehouse museum selling food in the parking lot again. They are doing a joint fundraiser selling firetruck and auto memorabilia. Thanks! Silly question as I've not made it to a swap meet to-date: DoesVCF run some sort of consignment area, the way it's done at VCF-East? I don't quite have enough to be a vendor, but would love to consign a few items. I must not be alone in this. Hello! They do. That's part of the next show's area in the building in back, and it is part of the VCF East show. There's something earlier that also gets started earlier, but that's not for me to describe in this form. Of course this does not explain the velociraptor wandering the grounds, or even the xenomorph getting into mischief and both were seen eating the contents of the dumpsters. ----- Gregg C Levine gregg.drwho8@gmail.com "This signature fought the Time Wars, time and again." Wil, We don't do consignment at our swap meets. The swap meets are an opportunity for vendors to sell items on their own terms without the stipulation that the event host gets a percentage of the sales. It's basically a flea market (or boot sale). There is no minimum amount you need to sell. You would be responsible for the $20 space fee, though. But that only means that if you sell more than $133 worth of stuff ($20 divided by .15), you covered the costs that would normally be charged to you at a 15% consignment fee. Anything you sell beyond $133 worth of goods would actually be a profit above and beyond consignment charges. There is also no minimum time to stay at your site. If you sell all your goods before the event ends, you are more than welcome to leave. You can leave anytime before you sell all your goods, too. It's your choice. You are not bound by time (as far as payouts) as you would be during a consignment event. On Tue, Sep 19, 2023 at 7:34 PM ☼ wil lindsay ☼ via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:
