Someone contacted me with the following Commodore problem:
I have a 802 printer that stopped working. I use my C64 system a lot and wondered if you repair these, sell printers for the C64 or know of someone who repairs printers. The printer just stopped working ( the print head doesn’t move when you turn it on and the paper feed button is lit but does not advance the paper) I hope you can help. [I'm in] Pensacola, Fl.
If someone wants to tackle this, I'll refer this person to you. I could suggest he join the VCFed-Mid list, but Florida is another physical locality, a local connection may be more practical if someone can suggest a Florida venue. Herb -- Herbert R. If this person is on Facebook, I would suggest joining the Florida Retrocomputer Club Facebook group. They meet at least once a month, typically aiming for a central Florida location but they mix it up, and there are numerous Commodore, Apple etc. members. Several of which I know personally. Perhaps one of them can help. Link to the group below. Tony https://m.facebook.com/groups/492669797754411

I too was contacted. I told the person to buy another 802 or 803 on Ebay for $20-30 plus shipping, way cheaper than getting one repaired. I like the idea that someone out there is still using a C64 system for word processing and not just playing games.
