Festivus Repair Question - IBM P70 Floppy Drive Re-cap
Hello, I have a working IBM P70, but the floppy drive needs to be recapped. Is this something that could be done at the Festivus repair workshop? If so, I'll order the parts and sign up. thanks! Bart

If your drive uses 4.7uF bipolar electrolytics on the spindle motor board (if it does there will be three, they look like regular electrolytics with no polarizing marks), you can replace with 4.7uF MLCC in 1206 surface mount packaging. We've been doing it on all PS/2 drives we fix up.
