I upgraded from the Paypal earphone-jack wedge to the wireless Square puck device: handles smart-cards, contactless payments, etc. Reasonably low fees, no monthly fee. It facilitates payment without making change! -- jeff jonas

Good idea! VCF made the switch two years ago.
