Looking for IBM TS3500 LTO5/LTO4 library, Northern Virginia
Back at work from a cool weekend with the Vintage Computers! Thanks everyone again for a great time. Perhaps it's a bit new but I'm on the hunt for an IBM TS3500 library, LTO5 preferred but LTO4 would suffice. For home use, for packratting data (Tapes don't generate heat, use power.) I'm in the Northern Virginia area. Sun/Oracle/StorageTek i3000 might suffice.
I've bought a fair bit of stuff from E Asset Solutions in Arlington. They've been great to work with http://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?LH_PrefLoc=0&_ssn=mclean-surplus Their eBay store doesn't show any libraries right now, but their stock is always rotating. -J On Mon, Apr 3, 2017 at 1:30 PM, Ethan via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vintagecomputerfederation.org> wrote:

Much thanks for the heads up! Will keep an eye on them. Have started to reach out to the local recyclers to try to keep anything our group would be interested in out of the trash. Also, I would be down for a monthly vintage computer lunch gathering in Northern VA if anyone is interested.
A NOVA gathering would be a great idea!

I'd also be interested in such a lunch. - Alex On Tue, Apr 4, 2017 at 1:30 PM, Ethan via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vintagecomputerfederation.org> wrote:
